The lock is preset to open at 0-0.
To reset the combination to your own number ,
a first open the buckle , use a small tipped object (e.g. ball point pen )to press in the reset button.
b rotate the dial to your desired number while keeping the reset button depressed.
c release the reset button, repeat process on the other side of the lock.
